You don't see wind but you still know it's there b/c you see the effect it makes. Every time you walk into a room and turn on the light you believe that it is going to work. That is called Faith...and Faith is what God is going to be looking for when He comes back. I know bad things happen but God said he would be our comforter, He never said he would make us comfortable. When we became comfortable with God, that is when something is wrong. You should always fear Him.

Actually, telemarketers CAN hang up on you because all they need to say is "okay, have a good day" then they can hang up, period. I learned that the hard way, haha.

One of the best things I've found is that whatever they are trying to sell, say you do not own the thing. (ex. Gas coupons: I don't own a car. Insurance: I don't own car/house/whatever.) They'll just leave you alone once they realize you can't use what they're selling.

um, i wasnt try to put the religion down... i was being serious, i wanted to hear an explaination on why that stuff happens, which is exactly the reason why i said "i want to believe, but all this bad stuff happens and doesnt let me"......and just so you know, your little rant right there... isnt going to get you to heaven, if it does exist...

ive got a serious question for you KJ. Why believe in god? How am i expected to believe in something that i cant see, feel, hear, or sense in any way? I want to believe in him/her but all these bad things happen to me and to friends and to family, and to all the people around the world, and i know alot of christians say that is satans dealings, but why doesnt god help them? or allow it to happen at all since he is all powerful? Bad things seem to happen alot to good people, so whats that about?
