Ghostbusters PS3 Stone Angels

This is the infamous and frustrating Stone Angels section of Ghostbusters. This is probably the most annoying battle in videogame history. This is me doing it on Experienced. I tried Pro for about an hour and decided to stop before I threw my system and controller off the roof in frustration.

My Basic strategy was, screw the slime tether. I used the capture stream followed by a slam. To me, it's much more effective. You can capture and slam the angels that are right over the gate. 4 - 6 slams seems to pop that sucker right open.

So there's an easy way to do this...

Just put your back to the fence and run back and forth. The stone angels will kamikaze the gate and it will go down in a matter of seconds. You're welcome.

Wow, I just tried that on Pro and beat this section without getting KOed at all. That's a neat trick.

I will definitely try the running around trick later since the Slime Tether serves no purpose aside from getting the Slime Dunk achievement.

After about an hr of playing this on professional I found a pretty decent way to glitch it. Stand back in the tunnel where you came out of to start the sequence. Stand to where you can tether the angles and arch it enough to hit the gate. You won't be able to see the gate so it will take a couple of tries. For some reason Ray stays alive and you never have to go out there and revive him. DO NOT USE the slime tether! its useless on this part on professional.

Yeah, I'm playing on Pro and I totally agree. I just beat them, and my basic strategy has always been to use the proton stream (I never thought to use the tethers) and smash them into the actual glowing heads...now THAT'S annoying...once I realized it was just the entire gate I beat it in 1 try. Here's the trick, do just like the video and face the gate and grab 5-6 cupids whenever they get close to you.
