  • These Carp are a hidden treasure most just haven't figured it out yet. Personally i would rather most don't figure it out, or they will end up like Lobsters of Old! Remember those days when Lobsters where only considered Fertilizers and look at the store price today! =) God bless all.

  • @Manofbegging....

    Then what can we eat?

If I can't eat fish, or meat.. that only leaves plants and killing plants is wrong..

Guess I will just eat some protein tablets with water.

  • What's wrong with the red meat on this carp?

  • in Chinese these one of the best fish to cook steam, fried, do dumpling, mince fish paste and so on. yes these fish cause a lot of trouble but hey blame the white guys who fucking greedy. And these fish i think they can do better then these waste the meat. Cause there other nation do not have food to eat.

  • @69oldcat if you soak the fish in vinegar overnight the bones with soften enuf to eat

  • you dont waste much!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahaha i think im going to die!!!!! hahahahahahahahahaha god help you guys!!!

  • Chinese eat everything of the fish except the bone and viscera

  • hack job.

  • He wasted all the meat. Nothing left

  • there's nothing left lol

  • He he.

flamedraq18, just because the fish is invasive doesn't mean it itsn't wasteful.

We Americans are amoung the most wasteful of people. Convenience seems to drive our lives.

One could easly just bake/broil the entire filet and eat around the bones and get more of the meat. OR, bake the entire (gutted!) fish and eat around the bones. This is how it's done in the developing world because they cannot afford the waste.

  • Asian carp, also known as SiverCarp was introduced by Catfish farmers in the southern US.Southerners introduced these species to their ponds decades ago, hoping they’d filter out unwanted algea. This all worked fine until the ponds breached during flooding in the early 1990s and the carp found their way into rivers that feed into the Mississippi. Then they found their way into the Mississippi and started working their way north, toward the Great Lakes
