I remember walking my dog listening to the radio on my sony walkman when the DJ announced that Richard Manuel hung himself. For me it was one of those I know exactly where I was moments. A year and half later my brother, named Rich, also committed suicide. I can't hear Manuel's voice without thinking of my brother, but I still love to hear it.
