  • Does this ammo still stand alone or do you think there are current SD loads available that are equivalent or better?

  • @macjmillsx I think there are current rounds that are equivalent or better. Specifically, Federal HST and or the current form of Black Talon, Winchester's Ranger-T Series. Black Talons are decent ammo, but dated. Do not carry 20 year old ammo. Black Talons are great for collecting but carry something more modern.

  • where are these still available, beside alamo ammo

  • @nburgwin You might find them at gunbroker. Other than that private sales would likely be the only way since it has not been made in many years.

  • why the stupid slow motion?

  • @theinfedel Some people like the stupid slow motion... Skip past it if you do not like it. I have made an effort to reduce the amount of time the slow motion plays.

  • They are expensive but such a kickass round. Usually goes for $55 $60 bucks. Their my main home defense round for my RIA .45 1911.

  • @andreleger2001 I bet those rounds were hard to get and expensive nice vid

  • is the white and blue Rhino ammo still available? heard they were more vicious than the BT!

  • Gotta love the black talons, simply the god of all hollow points.

  • @TexasWatch223 isint that the point? to have it perform well (as in being deadly) looks like it did its job too good. i remember flipping through guns and ammo when i was a kid and seen the advertisements for the black talons. truely one of the best JHP's ever made as far as core/jacket seperation is concerned (or lack there of) all the BS about the BT's being cop killers and armor penetrating is just that. bullshit made up by lib. extremist.

  • NOT THE KOOL-AID NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I've had good luck with Winchester silver tips & +p HST's. Haven't seen Black Talons for several years.

  • SPEER GOLD DOTS ARE A VERY GOOD RELIABLE HP

  • @iluvmym4 The Lubalox coating is supposed to lubricate the barrel/jacket contact points and protect the firearm's rifling, not make it "slip trough" vests.

watch?v=sWNhdw5sowE << video proving that a vest can stop it

The black colour is basically the jacket's surface after an oxidation treatment.

  • @armenianesh818 it was never banned winchester decided to stop production
