this video is pretty great. you did well with the varied philly geography....I see lots of neighborhoods in here (although mostly the gentrifying hot spots, but I guess that's ground zero for hipsters on bikes). anyway, this is a nice homage to biking in philly. makes me wish it was still summer and the cuties in their sundresses and on their schwinns were out in full force!

@MckyMseNTarotCrds thanks glad you like it...true about hippies vs. hipsters, but if you had any idea how hard it was to catch this stuff in real life on video camera, you'd understand why I had to not let the perfect be the enemy of the good...

um....if this is the ballad of Northern Liberties then why are there many shots of people on there bikes in different parts of the city? Stop being a hipster snob.

several people have actually pointed this out...all I have to say is I just took a little artistic license with the title...Besides Northern Liberties has long had the rep as hipster central and not trying to pretend it was all shot in the 19123, but "The Ballad of Northern Liberties" just rolls off the tongue a little better than "The Ballad of Northern Liberties and Kensington and the Italian Market"...
