it didnt sound that way until i installed the magnaflow cat conv. im gonna order an acutal y pipe put 2.50 exhaust and a longer resonator then hopefully it will sound better

i own an ecotec. it runs very good. just dohc sucks. they have zero low end torque. and thats not my gtx. but that gtx would eat this car with half of its plug wires removed. that gtx is bad. instant 150mph posi holeshots those ecotecs could only dream of. and that motor was built in 1980. so if your motor can go 30 years untouched let me know. dohc means lots of money cause they dont last

at least the duals on this look clean. dont see any rice muffler and its not terribly raspy. I like the duals, but its hard to tell how it sounds with all these vids being directly under/behind the tips. need a walk around and a chest high video of it driving/revving.

still, an 'eh' on the sound but a 'thumbs up' on the looks!

man keep those duals I think 4 bangers with duals look good, and pretty much every auto maker out there now has stock duals on their sport models so no matter what size engine it has. I plan on puttin a Camaro style muffler on mine cuz I like duals on a Cavalier and here u won't pass safety if they can put a broom stick in ur exhaust. Lookin and soundin good

@elfpoop2 au contraire my friend...why the muffler is to muffle the sound of course, this puts back pressure on the engine so it doesn't overheat...the catback already does some of this, but the muffler helps with it...

more volume=less back pressure=hotter engine/easier header-flow=more power...
