@Haflingers96 That's nonsense. If that were true he wouldn't retain 85% of staff, improve his chef's talents, have so many successful restaurants or have helped so many get on their feet.
He's helped countless restaurants from obscurity into profit throughout Kitchen Nightmares, both in the UK and in the US. And the restaurants are real and you can go check them out and see they're successful now. The proof is in his results.
He just starts off by getting them to snap out of self-delusion.

@zetterburger I know. My dad hated Gordon Ramsey because of Hell's Kitchen, but then he got hooked to "the F word" after I showed it to him.

Who cares? He doesn't have to yell and scream to get his point across. I actually prefer the BBC version when the show was still humble.. but Gordon would still be a dick and yell when he needed too. Fox turned it into a shouting match and played up the dramatics.
