the United Methodist Church is going the way of the Episcopal Church (once the formal leader of American Anglicanism): Both will be gone as major denominations within 10-15 years in the United States. Too many years of liberal theology, coupled by a lack of biblical standards, and of course, also, political correctness, and low birth rates/baptisms. Two of the most liberal American churches are two of the LEAST diverse, OLDEST and WHITEST.
