Consequences [IIL Season 3] Chapter 35

[Railey’s P.O.V.]

After three long hours at the beach, we went back to the hotel.
“I’m exhausted,” I said as we walked through the door. The beds were made and the place was cleaned up. I wish we had a maid back at college.

The room was cool and welcoming. I collapsed onto the bed and flipped the TV on. There was nothing on, so I walked into the bathroom to change clothes and take off my swimsuit. I met Nick as I walked in.
“I call the shower,” I quickly said. I could tell he was about to. He snapped his fingers in defeat.
“Oh, darn. Guess I’ll just join you,” he said as he picked me up, threw me over his shoulder, and walked into the shower with me.
“Nick...” I whined as he turned the hot water on and pressed his lips against mine. Honestly, I didn’t care. This was actually much better...
“What,” he mumbled into my neck while sliding off my shorts. I closed my eyes and breathed.
“Nothing,” I said while yanking his shirt off. He pulled mine off also and pressed me against the wall. He passionately kissed me as I kissed back. I pushed his shorts down without breaking the kiss and then wrapped my arms around his neck. His body was pressed close to mine, which was smacked against the wall. Water fell down onto us, but only making the kiss more enjoyable. His hands went from holding my face to moving down my chest and then to sliding down my stomach before resting around my waist. He slid his tongue into my mouth as his hands “secretly” moved up my back to the top of my bikini string. I felt his hands dangle with it for a moment before loosely pulling it undone. I ran my hands down his chest to the top of his swim trunks and started to pull them down, but he stopped me and turned the shower off.
“I’d rather not in here,” he said while picking me up again and carrying me to the first stop we could make, which was the couch. He laid me down and straddled on top of me while continuing the kiss. I pulled off his trunks and tossed them somewhere behind me as he pulled off my bikini bottoms.

The next morning I woke up in the bed, wrapped in the sheets. I felt his warm, muscular arms wrapped around me. I sighed and stirred a little.
“Morning,” he whispered while kissing the top of my head and stroking my hair. I smiled.
“Good morning,” I welcomed him. He squeezed me tighter and kissed my bare arm.
“Hungry?” he asked in a low tone.
“No, thanks... I’m tired,” I said while burying my head into the pillow and closing my eyes. He re-adjusted his arms around me and cuddled up against me closer.
“I’ll let you sleep,” he said while gently kissing my head again. He’s so caring and gentle... reasons why I love him. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted back off to sleep.

It felt like it wasn’t much longer when I woke up, but Nick still had his welcoming arms around me. I smiled and turned in his arms while digging my head into his chest.
“Good morning again,” he said. I smiled and rose my head up just to gently kiss him. “Your mom called, said she wanted to talk to you but didn’t want to wake you,” he informed me. I rolled my eyes. I didn’t want to talk with anyone except Nick. We are content with just the two of us here alone in Hawaii. I would stay here forever, and that’s a fact. He reached over and grabbed my cell phone. I sighed and dialed mom.
“Hello?” she answered eagerly.
“Hey, mom,” I glumly said.
“Hey, honey! How are you?”
“Wonderful,” I said as Nick squeezed me tighter again.
“I haven’t talked to you since the wedding. How are things going?” she asked in a nosey manor. She irritates me easily.
“Things are going great, as usual,” I said. She talked on and on about what’s going on and about the wedding and such.
“How many more days until you guys come home?”
“Um, about 2...” I answered. I was happy we still had 2 days left, but sad that we would have to leave.
“I see. I hate to ask, but when is Nick leaving for... you know... war?” she asked in a cautious tone. I sighed.
“Thanks for bringing it up, mom,” I said before hanging up. I angrily slammed my phone onto the nightstand as Nick pulled me closely back into his arms. He probably knew what she had asked.
“Sh,” he calmed me. A tear rolled down my face. Maybe it would of been easier if I would of just waited to know what was going on with Nick.

Tomorrow is Monday *tear*
Mondays suck, but my school gets out in less than a month *WOOT*
