i have trackir5 and i like it a lot. my bigest problem is i have a big window in room.u cant play in direct sun light. it will jump all over.
block out light and works fine.if you fly sims it is a must..

Can you help me? I got trackir 5... it was working very well. But one day I was trying to sim FSX and then it wasn't working anymore. (The green lights weren't going on). So I did uninstall and reinstall FSX and Trackir 5 softwares. Now when the green lights goes on but when I'm in virtual cockpit, I move my head and in the screen there's no action. What do you think I need to do?

I love TrackIR for flight sims. It increases the immersion by a magnitude. The value of being able to look around freely cannot be understated.
You have to get used to it and fit the response curves to match your preference. But it's worth it.
For first person shooters it's not as good. It can get confusing since, unlike a flight sim, you don't have a cockpit for visual reference.
It's an investment: it survives you computer and follows you to your new rig. I think it's worth the price.
