Our Forged Cuff starts out as a rectangular strip of 14k gold which is sunk over a hollowed out bowl in a maple tree stump where the basic shape is hammered out with a round face hammer. The roughed out piece is then turned over and placed on a round steel stake where we use a rawhide mallet to finish shaping the cuff. Next, the uniform texture is created with a steel raising hammer, a long process that also hardens the bracelet. Finally, it is carefully hand and machine polished to enhance the shimmering forged shape and texture.
