4 track demo was my first pj cd. Been in love with her ever since

I know wot you mean, The four track demo is sparser, but, it sounds better somehow. This version is too "busy", there is too much going on. It is also one of the rowdier and raucous PJ songs. I don't mind the rowdiness, I just think it could've been a better recording if it weren't that "busy' and "noisy". Love it anyway, I love anything by PJ.
