@SOCCERGURL1012 thats a good way to start. learn the core rhythms and beats you want to play, then over time, the rest will come. when it comes to the drum roll type stuff I can say that its important to relax and let the sticks do some of the work otherwise your wrists and hands will hurt after a while... Also try to at least get a few drum lessons in the beginning to ensure that you are holding the sticks properly - makes a world of difference..then let your imagination take over

@rynomite69 oh i just got a gammon 5 piece drumset a few days ago and i dont really know how to play that well,so i just stick to the rythm in my head.

the Floor Tom Might sound like The Drumroll on"Here's Lucy" when Lucy is doing her"Parshee Dance".when they put a bed of hot coals on the floor they pause in the drum boogie into a Floor Tom Roll!

@1989krishamm I modified the snare drum by putting real snares on it and modified the bass drum pedal so the beater rests back towards my foot-allowing me to actually put some force into it. Might not sell it anymore...
