  • @NecroVMX 4:35 Blofeld WAS killed in this movie, Bond smashed his submarine into a wall and it exploded, then if that didn't kill him the oil rig exploded AND it was in the middle of the sea.

  • @MultiUncensored that's why they were originally writing the spy who loved me as having blofeld before being forced to change it, and also why he showed up in the intro to for your eyes only, in which he WAS killed.

  • @NecroVMX Do you know if Curt Jurgen's character was substantially rewritten, or was it just a cosmetic rewrite? The character seems too low key for Blofeld, even if his surroundings didn't.

  • @Numinous20111 blofeld wasn't in the book, so they were making it up on the fly, that's probably why.

  • Diamonds Are Forever is better than Thunderball & OHMSS put together

  • @cannockwolf1992 I guess if you're demented, then yeah

  • It could have made an excellent revenge movie and the teaser was one of the finest. Then it just turned into some parody with a camp Blofeld. However, Bambi and Thumper and Kidd and Wint were the compensations.

  • @NecroVMX I'm sure Connery added sufficient box office to more than compensate for his salary. He donated it to his charity in Scotland. I didn't realise that Connery was avenging Tracy in the pre-credits sequence. It doesn't feel personal enough. This does feel like a Dean Martin 'Matt Helm' movie with Bond dropped into it. Loved the music, but this is a disappointing return for director Hamilton.

  • This was the first Bond Movie I didn't enjoy

    Villians henchmen and plot sucks!

Also Sean Connery looks older than Roger Moore in A View to a Kill when he is only 41!

Thank God Roger Moore saved the series.

  • i loved this movie becuase sean connery is in it and it was just a fun film to watch it was one of those let your hair down and enjoy yourself films.

  • i always enjoy the movie for what it is but the fact that it went from one of bond's darkest missions to the most comedic just makes me angry at the creaters of the film. i still enjoy it tho :) i love how honest and opinionated you are in your reviews and i have to agree on a lot of them, watching them all now, can't wait for what you say about moonraker and a view to a kill!

  • this is my favorite sean connery bond, second been never say never again :)

  • So glad they didnt use the other guy could u imgiane Ian flaming rolling in his grave if he knew the producers had got an american actor to play bond that would have been totally ridiculous and out of character even if the film wasnt that great and connery looking somewhat old and out of shape he didnt take the film

    seriously its quite obvious.

  • This one disappointed me because it was'nt like Ohmss.................This film is not my favorite but definetly not my least favorite.

  • this movie was ok the thing is though i like'd Ohmss so much that it kind of disappointad me after seeing Ohmss its not my least favorite though
