The Phottix Atlas Wireless flash trigger brings reliability and endurance on par with the well known Pocket Wizard. This Review done by Craig Ferguson Images in association with FirstZoom Studios shows you the Atlas in use in real life situations. Craig, an experienced Cultural Photographer from Taiwan gives his opinion and feedback on the engineering samples he received early on in the products development. With his feedback, Phottix will continue to develop the Atlas which is scheduled to be released within the next month or two.
Check out how well it works in the studio, inside a bomb shelter, and from a fair distance. Never missing a beat, the Atlas wireless trigger fired every time.
The device has 4 channels, and many various ways to connect to lots of different flash devices and DSLR cameras.

  • What the hell is that model wearing? She looks rediculous.

  • @kenlor71 Betty Bee is a well known local model who has her own flamboyant style. In this case, it was a new swimsuit. Please respect her choices and colour coordination. ;-)

  • Hi, can the Phottix Atlas sync with Phottix Tetra receivers? Because I don't really like the Tetra transmitter because it is hard to reach the channel switch at the bottom. Thanks!

  • @geonlansis Hi there, just checked with Phottix and the answer is no, the two systems are not compatible.

  • Question, let me first apologize for being a bit critical. With current inexpensive audio equipment and application software, you must invest in a bit of it. If you're not aware of it already, and I did not read all the comments so it may have already been suggested. You're audio track is well to say the least, terrible. Otherwise thanks...Good work!

  • @CAJUNNSC We do have audio equipment but for test reasons we filmed this video just with a Canon 7D as mentioned in the upper left corner. You will find that all the recent videos don't have this issues anymore as we simply don't use the audio recording on the HDSLR's anymore. Thanks for the heads up thought and we will try to improve where we can.... :)

  • I have my opinion of fashion and you have yours. Otherwise, it's a good video review of the flash trigger.

  • What brand is your soft box ?

  • @FirstZoom really? I would have told her to go home.

  • WHO CARES how the audio sounds! This was a very respectable posting. If you want a hi-end professional studio and video quality training... go out and PURCHASE one. This is youtube...and it's FREE! Why would these guys go out and invest in a hi-end audio system...for you? Get over yourself dude.
