  • I love Takai-san's pieces for mandolin orchestra. I have little knowledge about guitar pieces but I know this piece by a CD recorded by Kazuhito Yamashita. Lovely performance. I enjoyed much.

  • @ishii164 I appreciate your comment. I am afraid to say that very few guitarists play Takei's pieces for guitar solo in their concerts, even after Yamashita recorded some guitar pieces by Takei on two CD's. What a shame ! I am sure that Takei's guitar solo pieces are small jems in the world of classic guitar.

  • Beautiful piece, I enjoyed listening to you play.

  • @carpeguitarra Thank you for your concern on this seldomely played piece. I guess that this piece sounds nostalgic and recall my kid's days. Best regards, from lute323, Tokyo.

  • Very nice! I thought that the composition of the tune was unusual. Is it a picture story show style(紙芝居風)? Thank you. (TS)

  • @kei19690113 I appreciate your comment. We may draw pictures on the basis of this tune. To play this piece on the back of these pictures seems to become a nice show in our concert some day. I like the theme of this piece. I feel very nostalgic.

  • @ac00025 Thank you for your encouragement. Yes, we have various compositons for classic guitar in Japan.

Most of them are not so familiar to the guitarists not only in overseas but also in Japan. Best regards, from lute323.

  • You make me feel proud of being half japanese ! You play really well !

    Cheers from U.K.
