IS NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD PERMITTED OR PROHIBITED FOR A HUMAN BEING?
Between Dr. Zakir Naik and Mr. Rashmibhai Zaveri
(Patkar Hall, Mumbai, India, 9th May, 1999)

The topic of this morning's debate is... 'Is Non-Vegetarian food permitted or prohibited for a human being?' It is not... 'Whether Vegetarian food or Non-Vegetarian food - which is healthy or which is better?' If I prove that 'an Apple' is better than 'a Mango'... that does not mean 'Mango', is prohibited. This statement is sufficient to end the dialogue for me, but I have to reply.

  • I was listening to a vegan make his case of why everyone should be one . Everything he said made so much sense! He gave so many good reasons and would have convinced me except 1 thing stops me: meat tastes too good. Other than that, I had no reply to any of his points. Only certain ppl with conditions need meat to survive. Everyone else can do without and get all the nutrients from other things fully. We're not in the caveman days where if u didn't eat meat, u die.

  • I invite you to watch the full debate: "Is non-vegetarian food permitted or prohibited?" (21 parts) available on my channel.

  • @qwerty0019 paste the link pls. i want to see the whole debate.

  • Of course we should eat meat, it is the natural cycle. Animals are always eating each other, its what makes nature go around.

  • Just think ... if not for the joos meat would not be parishable say the milims perfect book.

  • @qwerty0019 why? who the hell cares

  • In Jainism/hinduism, particularly Vaishnavas, any kind of non-veg is restricted, dont want to argue on that. I am far away from it, I strictly dislike it. All hindus dont follow that. arguement never ends.

  • I really admire this man..He has a terrific command over Quran, Gita and d bible...talks very very well and his speeches are simply awesome...

  • WE NEED HALAL MEAT IN OUR DIET

  • If God wanted us to be vegetarian, he shouldn't have made animals out of meat.

  • @mus5599 ALL the animals that we are aloud to eat have flat tooth to grind the grass theyy eat for example sheep/cow so we actually eat animals that dont eat meat. but pigs have pointy sharp corner *vampire teeth like us humans because they eat meat too and therefor are not aloud to eat but the main reason why we dont eat pigs is because they are dirty animals and are actually unhealty... pig meat can give you over 70 diceases FACT. btw i hope my english was understandable

  • Water Barrier Mentioned in Quran -- its in Brazil (Rio Negro River + Amazon River)

{He is the one who has let free the two bodies of flowing water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition.} (Qur'an 25:53)
