PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). One last thing, about the PaperJamz microphone, for best voice quality, speak to the top of the microphone (having it orientated like you were going to stick it inside your mouth opening like as if you were eating a banana). Best distance for myself is 8 to 9 inches away from my mouth (to minimize the sound of my exhales as I speak). You can find optimal position by speaking a short song phrase and moving the microphone angles slowly around.
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). Now a built-in memory card slot would simplify this greatly or a secondary headphone jack (would also allow plugins to other PaperJamz instruments). I am going to be taping a chunk of hard plastic over the unwanted [SONG1 SONG2 SONG3 ] touch panels on this toy though. Way too easy to hit, far too unwanted when using for serious business.
This is a fun toy, very inexpensive, much future potential.
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). Now, for those-in-the-know this toy can be used with a "3.5mm TRS plug", a GOOGLE[ 2 3.5mm stereo Female Jacks to 1 3.5mm Male stereo Plug Y Adapter ] (one stereo female plug port for the headphones) + one for a GOOGLE[ male-to-male audio cable 3.5mm ] (to feed to a portable MP3 player with stereo record features) allows you a very portable voice recording studio which you can overmix your voicework later with software. Just look for potentials.
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). With the PaperJamz MP3 Microphone with the 3 pathetic minute recording time (violent moron thug Rap(e) Musician box art, that also is less of a desirable purchase) I feel much less inclined to purchase that. Now a secondary headphone plug (for piping out the sound to a portable MP3 player in RECORD MODE via a male-to-male "3.5mm TRS plug" AKA stereo plug, mini-jack, mini-stereo, headphone-jack) would be very satisfactory.
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). When I use a slight warble plus Perfect Pitch it gives a Spacey Martian Sound. Downside with Perfect Pitch, it has a slight trailing hiss noise (from being so close to my computer and its cooling fan noises). So this is a bit of a problem. My suggestion for a higher priced model, a built in memory card writer with removable card slots (gives big memory options - the microphone with the 3 minute internal recording is too small jokey poor).
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series). Granted, I do not have a good voice for singing in general, but I am generally happy with my purchase. I found that my normal rumbly slightly-froggy male singing voice is not improved by the microphone, BUT (this is important) if I switch to fakey character singing voices (like you'd hear in cartoons) I can get some extremely pleasing results. Real fun comes with using Perfect Pitch and using a slight warble in the voice, it results in fun.
PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp (Pro Series) also tends to have problems with froggy "err" and "urrr" noises (sort of in the frog-croaking range or throaty rumble). Best audio quality is gained by speaking to the very top of the microphone (using headphones for most accurate voice quality) to knock out any potential reverb. The PaperJamz cancels most reverb shrieks unless the microphone is 6-inches from the speaker (very good). I don't like the far-too-easy touch (SONG1 SONG2 SONG3) buttons.
I am no fan of the kid in general. He has an annoyance factor, but he can play a mean guitar (all musical instruments started out in the "experimental toy" ranges). This new line of products look very nice. Am now very interested in the new ProGuitar lineup. Just bought the PaperJamz Microphone & Effects Amp. It has a problem with picking up popping noises just from breathing on it. Stuck a makeshift Wind Screen pop filter in front, still too sensitive. Might need a digital pop filter on it.
It offends me that people just get a little paper guitar and pretend to be rockstars. And they think its soo cool. This offends people who actually have passion for music and that actually work hard to play.
