First thing perhaps to establish which HFs operate in space of investments. Number of databases on HFs and performance incl. EuroHedge, Alternative Investment News, AsiaHedge, InvestHedge, Absolute Return. Also conferences where funds present incl. GAIM and MarHedge. Most HFs have websites with contact details.
