http://www.heparinrecall.info If you have been prescribed heparin, you could be at risk! If any sickness or trauma has been a part of your life due to heparin, contact a lawyer today!

F.D.A.s working hypothesis is that this was intentional contamination, but this is not yet proven, Dr. Janet Woodcock, director of the Food and Drug Administrations drug center, told the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations in written testimony given Tuesday.

A third of the material in some batches of the thinner heparin were contaminants, and it does strain ones credulity to suggest that might have been done accidentally, Dr. Woodcock said.

Two weeks ago, Food and Drug Commissioner Andrew C. von Eschenbach told a Senate subcommittee that the contamination was done by virtue of economic fraud, but he quickly withdrew the remark, saying he had probably gone too far.

  • I think this is what killed my Mother last April 8th 2007. She was in the hospital after having a very mild stroke. The doctors gave her Heparin to make sure there were no clots left. She immediately went into a coma and died a couple hours later. I feel in my gut that the Heparin killed her, she was fine in the hospital and was going to be going home that day!! She was jokeing and talking to everyone, til the heparin.

  • yay, lawsuits!
