There must be a bag of dicks on the ceiling, judging from how he's craning his neck

@tempac91 I can full squat over 425. Otherwise, I wouldn't post a video poking fun at a guy that's quarter squatting the weight and thinking he's a badass for doing so.

@dragns Your comparison is wrong. He is lifting lets say 1/3 of the full ROM squat. If you deadlift and you don't pick it off the ground it counts for about 0/3. Also, i am sure that he trained a lot less than you. Also, he IS squatting. There are different type of squats, half squats are one of them. Anyway, my points is that the majority of people can't even quarter squat this. It is a lot of weight. He is doing a quarter squat correctly and messing the ATG one.

@WorkoutModerator Your ignorance is dominating. I cant compete with that. You are right.

@26692 - lol, what are you? religious? read a book and open your mind? Please POST A LEGITIMATE book or university or kinesiology article supporting 1/4 squat partials as seen in this vid.
1/4 squat are no good for rehabilitation, no good in power lifting, no good in strength training, no good in bodybuilding (tom platz has the right idea), regardless of bone lengths, parallel is a minimum to activate ALL The leg muscles for good long term health , regardless of goal.

@26692 - Not sure which books you read, but NONE will call for partials - especially labeling partials 1/4 squat. A Partial is upper quad PARALLEL. not what this above guy is doing. Sure, when teaching someone new, or they have never stretches all muscles, you telling me you decide to ADD weight when doing 1/4 squats? you are a horrible uneducated person if that is case.
-1/4 squats only does TWO things. a) boosts the ego b) certain injury over time.

Quarter squats are for Planet Fitness and D3 football players. I'm guessing he's one if not both.

@dsingleton1000 You dont have a background in fitness at all do you? If you did you would know that what you are talking about isnt right at all. I would never instruct the basic population to do squats past 90 degress and many of those people would have to be worked to that level. Trust me when i say you are wrong. There is clear advantage and use for less than 90 degree squats. Read a book and open ur mind.
holy shit dude over 400lbs thats a lot!

@dyyddson Not when you're barely bending your legs and only going a quarter of the way down (or less).

@StickzMen 1,000 lbs would be a hell of a deadlift, too, but if you don't actually pick it up off the ground, it doesn't count for much...does it? This guy isn't squatting. He's dipping his knees. Personally, I HAVE squatted this much weight below parallel, and that's why I don't have any respect for this effort.
