people need to recognise that the basics for playing any guitar is the same, bass or otherwise. It's funny/sad that people comment so much on the fact that it is not a bass, but don't comment at all on the fact that he didn't actually demonstrate any picking technique whatsoever.

It could be a 6 string acoustic bass.... but I highly doubt it lol. The strings look too thin.
