i also remember a show called Candy Apple...came on about 5 in the morning on Saturdays too.

Yes, Captain Noah was on until 1994 (at in the morning on Saturdays) and then Chief Halftown was one before that at 6.30am (he had been on since the 50's. he stayed on until 1996 I believe.

do you guys remember early saturday mornings in the late 80s/early 90's, ABC would show Noah's Ark and that Indian Chief who showcased local talent?

What happened to WCAU?
Yes, VCR and Pinnacle PCTV HD stick. I'm planning on upgrading that one to a newer and better model.
The 90s compilation tapes make up the bulk of my collection. They are unlabeled (or at best vaguely labeled) tapes of varying eras that feature a huge mix of content. A tape could go from clips of Family Channel to local news.
Starting around 1999 tapes got cheaper so there would be less "compilation" style tapes and more complete airchecks.
