The final event of The Greatwhite Surf Series went down on February 3rd, 2007 at The Lane on the Westside of Santa Cruz. The surf in the morning was 4-6 feet and side offshore, as the day marched on the tide dropped and the ocean turned to oil like glass, the sun shined the surf just kept pumping, it was an epic day at the lane. Every heat was full and the event was maxed out with hungry competitors trying to gain valuble VQS points and bragging rights which will last into next season
