It's so important to get help at the very onset of symptoms, and be willing to try medications. Also, I wish that everybody in the world knew that if it all gets to bad, you can always ask your general practitioner if they know of a hospital mental health treatment program that you can admit yourself to. Those programs exist in larger cities, I know of one in Indianapolis, Indiana.
