I worked for years in treatment centers and other places with kids with behavioral difficulties. I also worked in some public settings with kids. I could tell from those experiences and that most of the things kids were getting were hurting them. My wife had similar ideas and we see that farm life has helped our kids and is preparing them for the future.

Check out a supply company which sells electical or fiber optic cable. They almost always have some large wood spools they are willing to part with (since they cannot be reused for wire). The goats love having spools to jump on, and chew their cud.

I've been raising goats since 1999, and have over 100 of them.

I love that the kids are involved with everything in a positive manner. Too many kids don't learn to do anything except in school these days, which are not practical skills. Ya'll are great examples.
