If you cook from the same pot all the time, daily, any bugs are killed by the next round of heat and the flavour improves. Only people with nothing better to do scrub their pots and pans.
What was the stuff with the peel off foil and plastic trays? Now that I'd worry about.

I ate many meals in an ANA mess hall. Yup tasty food (I loved the raisins in the rice). We never drank the wwater tho, stuck with chi!!
