'Sangre en el Congo' (1956) and 'Los Sabios' (1962) were 8mm. movies shot in Santiago while I was a pharmacy student, with fellow classmates as actors, such as Charly Schidlow (who acted in both) Alberto Cuevas, Helios Murialdo and Carlos Moreno, who later became respected scientists.
The Detective in LS is Jose Santos Guerra, now a leading artist in Santiago.
This footage is just some surviving clips from both movies, of which SEC was completed and LS half completed. The original reel was lost after the 1973 political disaster in Chile.
As originally planned on that time, I added Spike Jones "Hawaian War Chant" for SEC and 'Cushion Foot Stomp' by the Retaguardia Jazz Band of Santiago's Club the Jazz, to which I express my gratitude.

Mon ami: ils sont "Spike Jones and his group". Peut être que l'enregistracion est bien ancienne, je crois 1950 ou antérieure. Aussi, je croix que la voix leader est le même Spike Jones. Merci bien pour votre commentaire. Hernán Castellano Girón
