This is my original song about adoption.

Played on the new red cedar concert ukulele from Mainland Ukuleles. We adopted our son from Russia. He is an amazing person. Consider adoption. There's a child out there who's waiting for you!

Your smile tells the story
of our happy life so far
Your Mama and I couldn't be
more proud of who you are

Your gaze at Papa shows your love
and to me that's no surprise
But will I ever know
If you have your father's eyes?

Your walk shows you are learning
to be nimble on your toes
as you follow Mama through the house
every where she goes

Your quiet sleep tells Papa
you're secure where your bed lies
But will I ever know
If you have your father's eyes?

Bridge:
But It's not important to me
To know who gave you life
You're my boy now - I'm your Papa
for the rest of your precious life

Your voice now calls for Mama
as your nap-time slumber dies
Papa loves you so he doesn't care
If you have your father's eyes.
