@ARTEMOCION Exposing your belly has been illegal in Egypt since the 1950s, so dancers are required to wear something that covers their midriff.

@ARTEMOCION I agree, 100% about the tights covering her stomach. Suheir had such a lovely torso, curvy and soft and. . .so goddess like LOL Small waist with narrow hips. . .
It's funny though. . .I don't think I've EVER seen a clip of her dancing without her stomach being covered with fabric, whether it was see-through or not (maybe it was her personal choice?) A lot of young women today want to be petite and skinny. . .but I'd KILL to have a body like Suheir Zaki <3

@MJrip260609 it might not al be from one song but I am sure that there is a part from AFRAH BALADI by Hossam Ramzy (I got the Hossam Ramzy version at home but it might be of someone else). I love Suheir and I love her costume but hate the "tights" covering on her tummy. Beauty should be seen not covered!

I think people who have never studied the real deal and traditional style don't know the authentic way. There is so much beauty here. You don't see that "pop and lock" techno version. She is so smooth and in constant motion. I love her and the real deal!!!!! I thank my teacher for continuing this style .

She just looks so vibrant and happy!

this is real bellydance, and that's what I love. Soheir is the best

Ela é master-blaster-advanced-plus!!
!!!!!! Um dos meus estudos.... dança demais essa bailarina!!!!!

I guess now the style is the sport one...who can move faster than having the fingers in the power supplier and more elastic than the japanese gymnasts....the dance must be sensual and smooth and perfect, just as you said!

Can anyone tell me the name of this music or who composed it..... i think i've heard modern versions of this with lyrics now.
thanks
What are you talking about? She still teaches dance every year at the Ahlan Wa Sahlan festival in Cairo. Check your facts.
