Sam did throw it away at the hospital, but then Jason bought a new one and gave it to her Christmas of '06. And then, during the hostage crisis, they were taking everyone's jewelry and they ripped it off of Sam. When Jason was acquitted August of '07, he came home and it was on his desk, Sam came in and said that Alexis found it in a bag of evidence. Jason wanted to give it back to her but she said she didn't want anything to remind her of what could have been.

if i remember correctly
she threw it into the mop-dispenser at the hospital after she told Jason she hated him?
because that was thier very last last lassstt love-ish scene together.

Yeah, she did throw it away but Addicted2Jasam reminded me that he got her a new one but when they split she gave it back to him.
