  • The plant is Valisneria grass. You have to be careful to only keep strictly non-predatory cichlids with the swordtails. I would not try it with texas, midas or salvini.

  • great quality video and very nice tank! The vallisneria playing in the current is beautiful. I´ll be getting montezumae too next week.

  • Great looking aquarium! What kind of live plant is that? I would like to put some of it in with my central cichlids. I'm also curious about adding some swords or platy too. I have a 125 gallon with a midas, texas, couple gt, and a couple salvini. They're all between 5-7" so I don't know how well starting a community of swords or platy would do right now. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks for sharing!
