Founded in Basel in 1997, the drop da bomb sound-nerd and DJ collective now functions as an internationally networked booking agency. At the Shift Festival, drop da bomb godfather and 8-bit legend Stu brings together the labels Bleepstreet (Berlin) and g6pd (Israel), along with a special guest, live on stage at only sweet sixteen, Foxxy Dekay (Chipdipdrops Records). Amid the equipment park, where modified home computers rub shoulders with analogue synthesizers, multi-talented Raquel Meyers (Berlin, ex-Entter VJs) takes care of the visuals while Stuchka Vkarmanye and Stu Digital steer the sound as a magician steers the elements.
