Mega Man 9 - Wily's Castle 2

Mega Man continues his one-man storming of Wily's skull-shaped fortress. I don't know if it's the same one every game, or if he keeps re-building identical castles around the world, but I guess he isn't afraid to show that he's evil with all the skull motifs.

There isn't anything too special about this stage, though I'd like to mention that those projector robots are among the most annoying things. Even the water section, which required precise jumping, is something I could get through, but it's hard to tell when the projectors will appear, and suddenly, you're forced to memorize the positions of every tiny platform.

Yes, I used the Robot Master weapons in the boss battle here. I might try it with the Mega Buster alone later, but I was tight on time, and you're expected to make full use of all the weapons at this point. Besides, I don't even know how to deal with the middle portion with the Mega Buster alone.

@jodalita I definitely like the music here, but stage-wise, it doesn't have some stand-out gimmick like all of the other stages do.

this is gonna sound really stupid, i know, but how do you charge shots?

i tried holding the shoot button but it didnt have any effect. unless its only some weapons?

Unless you have the Magma Bazooka, you don't. There are no charge shots for the Mega Buster in this game.

The middle portion with Mega Buster is just jump and shoot the hatches that drop the small robot fish. It requires a bit of timing and patience.

on the first part of the boss, use the trident it will kill that part quicker.

How do you fire your shots so fast? I can't even get close to rate you fire them, which makes killing stuff a whole lot harder.

Is this the Wii version?
