"Where all of you that bitter when you left?"

"Comes with the territory, McGinnis. Look up Nightwing someday, 'cause he got got stories..."

Babara Gordon and Terry McGinnis on Dick Grayson

This is an AMV which will be part of a DCAU trilogy that I will be working on in the summer.

50 years into the future (the Batman Beyond timeline) police Commisioner Babara Gordon, formerly Batgirl, explains the story of the first and former Robin, Dick Grayson. This AMV emphasises on Dick's growing resntment towards Batman/Bruce Wayne, as well as his relationship with Babara during her tenure as Batgirl. However, it most importantly focuses on Nightwing's newfound independence and his transormation from Robin to Nightwing.

The song is "Exciter" by the Japanese punk band, Bomb Factory, the song was also featured on the Dead or Alive 2 soundtrack.

Note: For some reason, the vid cuts out at the end so the audio is stated in the above quote.

As always, ratings and comments are greatly appreciated.

Peace :D

  • Dick looks better as Robin or when he's in Batman: Under the Red Hood

I just really hate that mullet o_o

  • @TVshowedmehow Agreed.

  • what's the songs name

  • @luis5938 Bomb Factory - Exciter

  • someone please tell me where nightwing keeps his gadgets? because he doesn't where a utility belt

  • @fusionwinner I'd assume that Nightwing has places in his suit (i.e. hidden compartments or something). The fact that he has no utility belt though seems like a major design oversight.

  • they need to make a nightwing movie. it may not get good reviews, as most superhero movies are pummeled by critics who are too bored to give a kind review, but i know i would watch it ^*^

  • Dick would be nothing without Bruce.

  • @ssjgoruto agreed. They should make more films from that Batman continuity, wasn't it the same continuity from Year One? If not they still should because Bruce Greenwood and Neil Patrick Harris rock :) And I trust the writers enough to make another exciting story out of a classic Batman comic book like the last two films they did :)

  • @ssjgoruto Lol nice pun but no offence takenn though but yeaDick does well did lead the titans but Tim does now and i think jason did for a short time as well but i think the creators of the show said that this robin exsted outside of comic book continuty but is all of the robins (most likely excluding Steph and Damian) combined into one. Nice discussion though you really know your stuff

  • @kinglouis1993 well sorry man for being a dick im just saying that dick grayson is the true titans leader plus those were references from shows not comic related or story related

  • @Samuel24842 yeah it was awesome especially the batman vs robin fight

  • @kinglouis1993 but the titans robin is nightwing indeed i have read all of the new teen titans and nightwing is the leader so you can make as many comments as you want but it still doesnt make a difference that dick grayson quit and became the titans leader

  • @ssjgoruto (cont'd again) Also if you notice that the robin in Teen Tians carries around a retractable Bo-staff exactly like the one Lady Shiva gave hm in the comics. Also in the episode when whoever stole the Red X suit and Beast Boy was going through a list of possible suspects Jason Todd's name was on that list which would've been impossible for him to even be mentioned if Dick was still robin at the time. Also if you think about it TT's Robin has qualities of Dick, Jason and Tim all in one

  • @ssjgoruto (Cont'd)The episode that you're speaking of just came on on boomerang in fact but if you remember that during the frst batman:TAS/Static Shock crossover that the robin at the time was Tim Drake because Dick had already left to be Nightwing and then when they crossedover again Static asked where robin was aka Tim and Bats said that he was with the titans whose show was on at the time if you remember because i guess they couldnt have Tim in both shows.----------->

  • @ssjgoruto No its not and i have read the comics(sorta just started a couple of months ago actually but ive been reading on the history.) Anyway I know all about Dick wanting to branch out on his on to show batman he'd grown up. However the robin in Teen titans is not Dick grayson except that he shares his name and a coule of traits. il continue to explain further in my next comment....------>
