hey man im getting a GTI soon, just wondering in general what the difference was after you put a new intake in. I might just scratch the intake upgrade and go for ECU

is it just the video or can you really not hear the turbo at all even with an intake? ive noticed in a lot of gti videos the turbos seem to be completely silent.

0:58 sounds like a jet engine.
I like this intake, but the high pitch sound would make me nuts. Didn't plan on replacing the DV just yet...

What makes that Darth Vader sound? Do you have a blow off valve? Other videos on YT of the BSH intakes dont make that "pffffhhh" sound.

@linespermillimeter The microphone in the beginning is positioned by the intake, so that is what you are hearing, the engine sucking in the air. There is no atmospheric blow off on this car. I have an upgraded Diverter Valve from BSH that is apart of this intake that makes the "blow off" sound more like a cough, but again, this system is sealed, no atmospheric blow off.
