"I Feel Fantastic" animated video

An animated video for the song "I Feel Fantastic" by Jonathan Coulton. This won the PopSci magazine video contest!

The song was based on an article from Popular Science magazine; they had JoCo write a soundtrack for their "Future of the Body" issue.

For those who are interested, the video was hand drawn with iCanAnimate by Kudlian Soft, using a Wacom tablet and a Mac. I drew some of the backgrounds with Photoshop Elements 3. I averaged about five seconds of video per hour of work.

@MrCheeseWire1 Look, it's fine that not everyone gets the extra layers of story and humor I added to JoCo's already hilarious song or appreciates the stick figure aesthetic. But do you think Spiff would want his fans coming here to lob a little negativity bomb? Spiff, blackcatbonifide, and all the other contestants were quite gracious, and we all liked each other's work. So what does that say about you, that you feel the need to come post an insult? It's just gratuitous and mean.

I love this video and have watched it since you 1st posted it. I saw a few comments saying you shouldn't have won and blah blah blah. I love that you won - I love how you took the song and told your own story with it. The dialog between Rob and Mr. Fantastic was awesome. Loved yoga girl. You brought a lot to the concept and the happy ending is a totally winner! So YAY.

i love how the contast was 4 years ago yet people are still hateing on you. I personally prefer this music video to any others because of the story line, it really fits the song perfect. When i hear the song i always see this video in my head.

This may not be the most 'technically advanced' animation but it has humor in spades. This video had just as much right to win as anyone else, she still put effort in in my opinion :) (and I say that as I've seen some terrible final year animation student's projects, that look like they spent 3 hours on it when they had 3 months lol.)
