@ThrashinSpeedMachine The Big Four were influenced more by the NWOBHM, seeing as the Big Four are the four biggest thrash bands (Hence the name) I think i'll stick with my idea on the matter. And whether they hated Glam or not that wasn't the reason they made thrash.

@stnavres Thrash metal was more born out of the bay area HC punk scene then out of NWOBHM. Thrashers back in those days were very hostile towards the glam/hair metal scene.
