I just got this tiny video camcorder to use for aerial videos. It is literally the size of a pack of gum. It takes micro SD cards for storage (up to 16GB) and recharges from your computer's USB port or the included charger. I've seen this advertised on a few rc website suppliers, but I got it off E-bay for only $19.95.
It was a nasty day, but I had to try it out anyway. This is edited and converted to WMV format before uploading to UTube. The actual video is saved in AVI format and is sharper than what you see here. Not bad for a 2MP camera. I hope to use it at more interesting flying sites soon. stay tuned.

  • got any links to the gum size cam?

  • I cant post a link in the comments but, just go on ebay and do a search for "spy gum hidden cam". Many people sell them for an assortment of prices. I ordered mine directly from a Hong Kong vendor for $19.95. I bought the micro SD card separately at my local Walmart.

  • Got the same thing bro but im having problem how to set the time.

  • Me too. I still have not figured it out yet.

  • Hey I like the Hang glider thing, whered ya get it?

  • Thanks. I made it. You can find the plans on rcgroups under the Ultralight, Harbor freight Kite thread.

  • @bountyman2000 if I remember correctly, the time stamp feature disappears each time the cam is turned off or perhaps each time it's plugged into USB. Try setting time with file, unplug from USB and test one single video not photo. I had a lot of trial and error attempts when I fooled with it. Is it possible your cam is different? Maybe its a later version that requires different methods.

  • @helipassion i appreciate the help from you, and all the others...problem is, none of the solutions are working..and i sure am not going to contact the seller in china to resolve this problem...but of course, something that should be so simple....is hard. i will keep at it until i either find the solution; or just throw it in the creek and be rid of it.

  • @bountyman2000 I'm not the only one who posted instructions in an attempt to help others. Many of the comments illustrate that the file is in upper case. Best of luck to you. Contact the place of purchase for help.

  • @helipassion i saw nothing in the initial comment about using UPPER CASE. had i known that, i would have tried that. maybe i'll bring my cam to you and u can do it.

  • @bountyman2000

You feeling ok bountyman? No salutation or methods you've tried just an immediate comment with exclamation marks. Geez man. Did you save the file in upper case? It sure works for me. How about contacting the guy you bought it from instead of screaming at me here.

Best of luck to you. :-)

  • @helipassion ...it does not work!!!............

  • just considering buying one of those cheap cams and this one is an option too. Video seems to be interpolated from 320x240 and the sound is horrible, it sounds like it's downcompressed to horrible measures.. but well, maybe it's ok for THAT cheap camera. you certainly helped me.

  • dude i got mine on nitro rcx today cant wait till it comes

  • @HARLEYDUDE53 I would like to get the software. gdmurf@comcast.net

  • Cheers for this- there's one on ebay now, i think I'll get it!
