I stayed 3 nights at C&O Bicycle Shop in "Bunk House" which is a basic hostel set-up (and affectionately referred to as "The Chicken Coop" I was waiting here to receive my new (replaced) Flip Cam.

  • Swung by the C and O bike shop late on a Saturday and Denny was nice enough to help me fix my chain squeak even after closing on a Saturday. Would highly recommend that shop. Also enjoy'd Weaver's for dinner!

  • @n3vqh Hi Mike, that does not surprise me. Dennis is a great guy and in the 8000 miles I've traveled, this is the only video where I was so impressed with a bicycle shop that I made an entire video about it. Thanks for the comment, and see ya on the trail!

  • @n3vqh Mike, I saw your post on bikeforums(dot)net and I thought that might be you. You should hunt C&O Bicycle down on facebook... spread the love!

  • @ThreeWheelJourney thanks for the tip I just "liked" them...

  • @n3vqh cool... tell'm ThreeWheelJourney sent ya

  • One of your best informative videos..enjoyed it immensely.

How did you rig your visor? Details. I can see where it would

be helpful riding into the sun. Thanks!!

  • @Juan2know Hi John... I believe the instructions are in my "things to do in Key West" video, part 1 I think. It's a cheap foam visor I bought at a souvenir shop and attached with 2 zip ties. Works like a charm. thanks for the comment about the C&O bike shop. I stop at almost every bike shop I pass, but this one deserved a more thorough investigation

  • C and O Bicycle Shop has the dirtiest stinkiest portojohns ever. I stayed there 4 times. Garbage is always full and stinking. Did you meet the resident wino employee Ron? But I was always glad to be dry and safe from mosquitos and the showers are hot. Great town to stop eat and resupply.

  • Cool...I'll check it out and always love your interviews with other bikers. One question you can always ask, "What's the most important

  • @BlackCatSaloon be sure to stay at C&O Bicycle Hostel if you go BCS. The C&O Canal is a great place
