Prime Minister, Jim Hacker explains to Sir Humphrey and Bernard the importance of the papers and who reads which one. Hilarious BBC British comedy at its best.

£142 bill arrived today. So you want to make me pay £172 before X-mas so I don't have to watch kleenix adverts for seven seconds. Lets slap on 40 quid to my BA flight for fuel surcharges while the cabin crew decide they want an extended X-mas at home. Pile on an inflation busting tenner to my monthly tube ticket. I'm sure I can retire after we raise the retirement age to 95 so we can afford all of this. Yours :-p

the PM removing his glasses after Bernards mentioning of Sun readers just shows how masterly they built up the whole scene.

They build up the comedy superbly with a joke and then a lull and then a better joke going faster and faster till the end of the scene.

I wish comedy's like this where still made.

Yes,Minister and Yes,Prime Minister are my favorite TV series, british or otherwise, of all time! Tony Jay and Jonathan Lynn denied this is how politics works, but we know better!

They only did that to protect their sources within the government who fed them all the material! :P

Worldwide is for a worldwide audience. So non merci - let the frogs pay for it if they want. Not me. :-)
