This is Michael Mann's second best film after Manhunter. Police procedurals don't come any better, or beautifully crafted, than this. One of those rare films that doesn't treat the audience like spoon-fed idiots.

Very underrated film. This scene was a great nod to the boat scene like that from the series. I agree on Mann being an amazing director.
