This song became a standard in the jazz repertoire in the 1930's and has continued to make its impact felt today in the realm of mainstream jazz. This was recorded in the "Word of Mouth Recording Studio" in Algiers,La. Of all of the studios I have recorded in this is one of the finest. And, as a well proven fact, if you have an engineer that is a musician, you are way ahead of the game. Thank you Tim Stambaugh!
This was recorded on July 9,2007 and is an improvised rendition of this jazz classic with Jim Hession on piano and Will Buckingham on bass. Hope that you enjoy this cut.

  • Once again 5 stars from me to you!

  • Swing glorious swing. Great interplay - walking bass LH, hints of stride, Garner and some OP. Much better on the camera work. Keep postin'-great stuff!
