Great. I´m trying it too, but my sound of slapping with my passive Ibanez Rodstar is too bad!! Do you think it´s necassery to transform it in an aktive-bass?

hmm hard question!I have no experience with passive basses but the active basses work as a preamp for the bass.Lets say it this way,
I just play,as long the bass sounds good its ok with me.
