A demonstration of my way of threading up a CP16R, probably not the right way. I have never had a dropped loop or film break with a CP16, but that may be attibutable to the camera and not necessarily to my methods.

A quote from a camera tech on my method follows :-

"I may have left a more generous bottom loop, as that tends get lost on start up with the bounce, especially with old film."

  • Ah i see. thank you for posting! i've been having trouble threading the loops and i see that i wasnt holding the film in place at the first roller.

  • You are a saint for going to all the trouble of making and posting these tutorials for this camera and the shrinking but proud numbers of us who have these cameras. Thanks!!!
