I have traveled a lot and the filipinos riding with philippine airline are the only ones that claps their hands when they land in manila. I love it . Thanks for sharing .

It is said to be considered "low class" to clap on a plane when it lands, unless it's an unusual situation (jetBlue landing gear, Hudson landing etc) or special occasion (historic moment, captain retires, etc.) :-)

it's because they've not been a long time in the Philippines and they are happy that they finally land in their home town. I've first experianced this from Dubai to Manila in Emirates.
