@castrofanatic Their great, basically anything canadian from nova scotia and newfoundland are wonderfully talented.
Would really love to go from UK (where i live there), the first songs from the band I worshipped before loving of course GBS, Runrig, its actually titled (Runrigs original version of beat the drum), is Pride of the summer, played at almost every gig I have ever seen them play, seen GBS once back in 2001 when they supported Runrig, great band!

Its about Portree Isle of Skye out on the western isles of Scotland (in the Highlands) a covered and beautifully edited version of Runrigs song, actually called Pride of the Summer, the biggest town or the only town I think on Skye, great island.
Where Runrig are ultimately from but their first ever gig was at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow due to Rory and Calum MacDonald (brothers), being at University and one of their friends, Blair Douglas's mother would invite them aroudn for tea occasionally.

This songs a good version, heard it live by runrig (the 2 writers who wrote the runrig one Calum and Rory MacDonald) from Uist, heard it sooo many times its a lovely song about a town on the Isle of Skye called Portree (ive personally been there!), the title of their big outdoor concert at Loch Ness Beat the drum at Borlum farm Drumnadrochit (excuse spelling)
