1) This decade-end chart is based on Billboard Magazine : Special Double Issue, dated Dec 4, 1999.
2) It took me 6 days to make this video & I am exhausted. I hope u all enjoy this video & appreciate the effort i made but not just complaining about the quality / information / minor typo mistakes in this video (if there's any).
3) It takes 18 hours to upload this 3 GByte AVI video.
Thanks

  • Great Job!! Can you do the chart for the 1980's?

  • @Dylanaz10 Billboard didn't publish the official list for the top 100 songs of the 80s. I don't have the official list.

  • Great job with this! I'd love to see a video of the top 100 of the 80s decade's end too. Keep it up. I love your channel.

  • @DJLibby1 I'd love to do the same chart for the 80s but unfortunately Billboard Magazine didn't publish the top 100 singles/songs for the decade-end 80's on their 1989 year-end issue, therefore i don't have the official top 100 list. There are a few "fake" lists can be found all over the internet but i still would like to have the "real" official list. Anyone can help me to find the official list ? :-)

  • @BillboardClassic One Sweet Day is the all-time # 1 hit of the rock era? Hmmm. According to Billboard the all time hits (upto 2008) are:

    1 THE TWIST Chubby Checker

2 SMOOTH Santana Featuring Rob Thomas (most weeks at number one)

3 MACK THE KNIFE Bobby Darin

4 HOW DO I LIVE LeAnn Rimes

5 MACARENA (Bayside Boys Remix) Los Del Rio

    .

29 ONE SWEET DAY Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 Your that list is "Billboard Hot 100 50th Anniversary Charts (58 - 08). They ranked that based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100, includes their sales, airplay, entire chart runs. My "All time #1 song in the rock era (1955, YEAR FIFTY- FIVE until present ) is just based on how many weeks it stayed at #1, not talking about its entire airplay, sales, chart run. OSD had 16 weeks @#1 & it's all time #1 in rock era since no other songs had more than 16 weeks @ #1.
