Gaaah! How embarrassing. He/she probably had to buy the rounds afterward. And yes, the cymbal evidently slipped out of the thong; he/she didn't drop it. The navy band in which I played had a faulty pair of cymbals; one of them would invert, or curve outwards, and could only be corrected by bending it over my knee afterward.

Best Band in the world. Not her fault, I have never yet seen a video or in person the Royal Marines Band make any mistakes.
